Welcome to The Pretenders Theatre Company
The Pretenders Theatre Company has been bringing the Columbia River Gorge outstanding entertainment accompanied by delightful dinners for over two decades. The Pretenders offer hilarious comedy, audience-participation mystery and memorable musical productions. All performed by our very own community members and presented to you in a dinner theatre milieu.
The venue is staged in the beautiful countryside setting of the Columbia River Grange Hall located on the outskirts of Lyle, Washington, (just off of Old Highway 8 on Columbia Grange Road). The Pretenders are proud of the long-held community tradition of making our patrons feel ‘right at home’ but don’t let that country charm fool you. Expect to enjoy a scrumptious dinner, dessert and if you like a glass (or a bottle) of wine from one of our best local wineries. Then sit back and prepare to be amused, surprised and inspired by some of the area’s most talented performers. We are always welcoming new adults who are interested in participating in theatre arts and extend the invitation to ‘come play’ with us’.
